How do you create a cashless ecosystem for college students solely using cash on campus? This is the question I set out to answer for our clients who had two goals in mind: create a cashless ecosystem and become the go-to bank for students after graduation.

How we achieved the goals

Shadowing and speaking to students on campus to identify students’ relationships and behavior toward money

Analyzing research to create user journeys that helped identify strategic opportunities for innovation and collaboration between Visa and the client

Hosting a comprehensive workshop to show student stories using immersive experiences, such as a gallery walk-through during a facilitated workshop

Creating a click-through prototype that allowed the client to imagine what a solution could look like.
